Just a few minutes from Horal, you can join the route along the Bečva River. Head towards the reservoir at Horní Bečva or follow the river downstream to Valašské Meziříčí.

ROŽNOVSKÁ BEČVA

One trail. As many kilometres as you like.

The Rožnov branch of the Bečva Cycle Path connects Horní Bečva with Valašské Meziříčí. The entire route is 30.8 kilometres long, with most of the trail away from road traffic, following the river and shaded by trees.

You do not have to ride the entire route. Choose your direction, distance and pace, and our hotel reception team will recommend a suitable option based on the weather, the time you have available and your fitness level.

TWO DIRECTIONS

Upstream into the mountains. Downstream through open countryside.

Choose whichever suits your mood. Both routes follow the Bečva River, and you can turn around and head back to Horal whenever you like.

UPSTREAM

From Horal to the Horní Bečva reservoir.

Follow the river upstream through Dolní Bečva and Prostřední Bečva. The valley gradually narrows, views of the Beskid ridges begin to appear and the ride takes on a more sporting character.

  • the reservoir is approximately 13 km from the centre of Rožnov
  • suitable for road, trekking and electric bikes
  • turn around at any point and return along the same route

DOWNSTREAM

From Rožnov to Valašské Meziříčí.

The route through Zubří and Zašová is mostly smooth and easy-going. It is ideal for a longer uninterrupted ride, but works equally well as a relaxed social ride with no pressure to perform.
