Vallachian Museum

Vallachian Museum in Nature is the main attraction of our town. It is the only museum of its kind in our country. The museum's origins date back to 1925 when the foundation of the Wooden Town complex was established. This complex was gradually expanded with additional wooden structures, leading to the creation of the unique new museum – Vallachian Museum in Nature.

Currently, the museum consists of three parts in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm: Wooden Town, Vallachian Village, and Mill Valley, as well as a separate section at Pustevny. This section includes Jurkovič's buildings: Libušín, Maměnka, and the Bell Tower.
